What is Plan Management?

Plan management is one of the three ‘ways to pay’ for your NDIS supports. These are called:

  • NDIA Managed
  • Plan Managed; and
  • Self-Managed

You can choose one, or multiple options depending on how much choice and control you want during your plan… We recommend speaking to your NDIS/LAC planner or one of our Plan Managers to find out more…

What do Plan Managers do?

Plan Managers focuses on strengthening client’s ability to undertake tasks associated with the financial management of their supports.

Plan Managers handle task such as:

  • making payments to providers
  • the processing of claims
  • providing monthly budget statements
  • assisting you to select providers
  • develop service agreements
  • making payments to providers

NDIS Plan Management Training

ISM provides training for all eligible client’s and includes building financial skills, organisational skills, and enhancing your ability to direct supports and/or develop self-management capabilities. Plan management is the overall management of the plan and includes:

  • assisting you to select providers
  • develop service agreements
  • paying providers
  • developing monthly statements
  • claiming payment from the NDIA.
  • assisting you to select providers

Establishment Fee: $222.85**
Monthly Processing Fee: $100.18
Training in Plan Management Activities: $55.27

*ISM will provide up to 2 hours of free ‘Plan Management Activities (Training)’ per participant/nominee in the event that no funding has been specifically provided for this service.

**Establishment Fee may vary depending on the funded NDIS line item in a participant’s plan.
